I am an American expat artist and cultural worker based in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. I utilize visual arts and writing as a means to work through conceptual ideas, on topics of interactivity, cultural history, and art history. I consider my art practice to be an extension of writing.

I am satisfied to work, live and create in the city of Hamilton. My artwork varies from being highly personal to more community and individual based. I am interested in creating participatory and interactive artworks without the aid of technology. Recently I have been creating works which allow us to feel empathy. I want art to allow people to feel connected, to allow us to empathize, to bring unity through common feelings, reactions, secrets and emotions.

  • About the project

    No Fixed Address was a series of mobile art spaces, utilizing suitcases as containers for artistic projects by Hamilton-based artists. This alternative method of exhibiting artistic practices traveled around Hamilton cultural locations from April until June 2007.
